Nehemiah Retreat (November 2019)

A call for prayer.

Sometimes as a team, ministry, and individuals we need to pause everything, assess the situation, and put plans in order to proceed on the right path. A pause to ask ourselves where are we standing? Where do we want to go?

The Nehemiah Retreat is an "away time" for asking the right questions and having them answered by Him.

Hiding Place (December 2018)

Hiding Place was our winter conference for 2018. Our very special guest speakers from Egypt, Michel Gerges and Sara Aziz spoke about finding our true hiding place in Christ, and shared practical guidance on how to overcome worldly, unsafe hiding places. It was truly a unique spiritual experience where we had a profound encounter with God, got anchored in His word, made new friends, and got the chance to compete in the ultimate competition between the teams Alpha and Omega!

Homerun (July 2018)

HomeRun was our summer camp for 2018, it revolved around the idea of how a successful Home run in baseball resembles many choices (runs) we make in our lives. How successful are we in practicing and applying the right move, decision or action in our daily transactions and situations? And of course, the historical rivalry between teams Alpha & Omega availed and the competition was as tough as ever! :)

At the end of the camp, everyone had made new friends and gained a deeper understanding about themselves and about God's good will for their lives.

Not Ashamed (December 2017)

'Not Ashamed' was our first winter conference that was held in Virginia Beach. The idea behind it was 'Not Ashamed of the Gospel'. We had great discussions and teachings about the gospel, and how to be an example to others as Christians, everywhere we go. We had a chance to celebrate Christmas together, singing carols and playing games. Alpha and Omega had their first talent show and they both did so great that the judges found it challenging to decide who wins! Alpha competed with a great spirit and talent, but Omega claimed the trophy this time by winning the skit contest. In fact, Omega's skit was so powerful that we decided to post it right here!

In Everything (October 2017)

'In Everything', held on October 14th, 2017 in Northern Virginia, was an event for the Arab-speaking youth. The main focus behind this day was learning together to give thanks to the Lord in everything. These youth had the opportunity of interacting and getting to better know each other through discussions, prayer groups, and activities. Our sports teams, Alpha and Omega, competed throughout the event, and although both teams did their best to win, team Alpha held their trophy from the previous camp, and Omega came in second.

Deep Waters (July 2017)

Our very first camp: Deep Waters Camp. It was a blessing, where both campers and servants got to embrace and feel the Lord’s love and learn how deep it is. We had people from all over the East Coast joining us in having a serene time with the Lord. While praising Him, Deep Waters also offered campers an opportunity to compete in character-developing games and team-building sports, divided into two, everlasting teams: Alpha and Omega. In this camp, the youth had an opportunity to reveal their talents and skills, from musical talent, to critical thinking, to leadership, and much more!
